Who will you work with?

You’ll be working for one of the world’s largest banking institutions who are in innovation overdrive and are building 4 accelerator businesses within Financial Services.

You’ll be building the B2C arm of the accelerator and will be the most senior Product person in the business. Their mission is to make life easier for the modern banking consumer and they plan on doing this in a number of ways using new, cutting edge technologies.

The entire business currently stands at 50 people. Mostly made up of Engineers, a few of Product Leads and 2 Designers. The team will be at 150 by this time next year.

What you’ll do

The Interactions team goes deep into usability, customer satisfaction, customer journey and the overall design of the mobile and web apps. But really everything that the B2C customers will see and feel.

You’ll be working very closely with the Design team and continuously ideating to create the app that is deserving to the customer.

This is pure 0-1 product management environments. A clean slate, they say building from the ground up. Well, this is digging, building the foundations and then starting at ground level.

This role reports to the MD of the Project and is the essence of having full autonomy. You’ll be working cross functionally with the engineers, data and design teams to build the best in class B2C products.

You’ll be expected to be a true Product leader who doesn’t mind working with the MD in one meeting and then be working with Market Research teams the next and taking requirements to your Engineering/ Design stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • You’ll have worked for a successful scale up in either Fintech, Fashion or apps that have large MAU’s and where an outstanding customer journey is absolutely required for success.
  • Mobile and Web App experience.
  • Have ideally come from a Design, UX/UI background earlier in your career.
  • You will have genuine 0-1 Product experience within Mobile and Web apps and will be able to show demonstrable examples of this.
  • Have deep experience in building servicing tools and what impact that had on the consumer and business.
  • High level of autonomy and accountability. Culture-heavy, process-light.
  • A hands-on attitude, navigating from high-level strategy to implementation-level details with any and all teams across the organisation.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to understand and solve complex customer needs.
